X-Ray / MRI / CAT SCAN
X-rays of the spine, when indicated, can be a great help in determining a more specific diagnosis and help you and your doctor determine your treatment plan. Depending on the findings, an MRI or other imaging study may also be indicated. If indicated the necessary referrals can be made from our office.
In our office we always take xrays upright, with the patient standing (in a weight bearing position). The upright or weight bearing position reveals significantly more information about posture, leg length differences and rotations in the spine. These are all things your chiropractor wants to know about your spine to determine the best course of treatment.
